I am here presenting you all First Ever Rom for Micromax A27 - 'DreamBoltX' by me Mayank Choudhary.
I am working on this rom for at least last 10 days and succeeded to complete this rom.
This is first and quite simple but its good. So lets move down to have a look at features:-

How To Install-
- Place the Rom zip in root of your sd card
- Then boot into Recovery Mode
- Wipe Data
- In advanced clear Dalvik Cache
- Go to Install Zip From Sd Card
- Select the Rom Zip
- Reboot

the video player (movies.apk) not working mobile get restarted when opening the movies.apk

hey, i flashed this rom on my micromax a27. first of all its a very good work. thanks and keep it up! i have also recommended some of my friends to try this. overall the rom is good in performance and look. also less memory issues than original one. but, there are some issues i found as stated below
- movies app doesn't appear in app list. it shows itself in "open with" when i try to open some video but then phone restarts if select it.
- when i press menu, the menus are all white font with white background which makes me tricky to read them.
- the dialpad is blurred n ugly.
- the separator in lists is light cyan colored on white background which makes my eyes stretch.
- the android logo appears in transitions is annoying and sometimes the same background makes black font disappear.
- while setting alarm, the timing if alarm is covered with some solid gray strip.
- the profile icons in notification panel are wrong.
- the changed icon is not working for second sim (or may of if the second sim is not inserted in my case).
- useless "dreamboltX" option in settings.
it would be very good if you fix these problems. regards.

YEP Bro...!!!Know all problems...I will remove that movies....And the DreamBolt option in settings was just to show off :P

by the way, i have another question. how u managed to boot your phone in CWM without using any app? im unable to figure out that? how you used to restore it back if u bricked it?

Hey!! Mayank !! iam a android lover and own a micromax a27 .. i tested your rom..great work but still in development stage...actually i have less knowledge about developing and request you to develop ics or jb(if possible) rom for micromax a27...plzzz!!!

Hii mate I found solution for my problem
A27 is not enabled with CWM so first it is to be done.
I have done it and now I am using Dream BoltX.
I liked the transitions but always a slide comes before opening any application that is little awekward.
I liked the applications given.. :) link2sd and ICS gallery
yeah some1 already mentioned about the dialer even that is to be modified.
totally I liked it.. :)

After iinstalling this ROM it went quiet well for few hours now I am unable to turn on my mobile.
It's struck at the Bolt logo...
what should i do.....?

fnds i recovered my mobile by flashing my boot image using fastboot mode. :)
